2025 - Current

Ethereum Foundation - P2P Networking Engineer

Drove PeerDAS networking optimization from design to standards and client implementation, aligning libp2p, consensus specs, Engine API, execution clients, consensus clients, and metrics.
Authored the cross-ecosystem Gossipsub Partial Message Extension, Cell Dissemination consensus-spec change, and EIP-8136: Cell-Level Deltas so nodes can exchange missing cells instead of redundant full data columns.
Shipped implementation across libp2p and Ethereum clients, including go-libp2p-pubsub partial messages, engine_getBlobsV3, geth, Prysm, beacon metrics, and interop tests.
Implemented low-level QUIC improvements across independent stacks: Ack Frequency draft-11 in quicly, pacing and flow-control fixes in Neqo (Firefox), and transport metrics/API work in quic-go.

2021 - Current

libp2p - Open Source maintainer

Maintainer of libp2p, a networking library core to Ethereum, Filecoin, IPFS, Celestia, Polkadot, and many more.
Designed and shipped protocols across spec and multiple implementations: HTTP Peer ID Authentication, Go libp2p HTTP auth, and authenticated fetch in js-libp2p-http.
Built ecosystem-scale test infrastructure, including simulated libp2p networks, Gossipsub interop testing, partial-message interop, and multidimensional transport interop across Go, JS, Rust, Zig, browser, QUIC, WebTransport, WebRTC, and WebSocket stacks.
Hardened production behavior in high-traffic network paths: WebSocket SOCKS support, QUIC/WebTransport listener reuse, TCP/reuse fixes, resource-manager limits, structured logging, and performance and race fixes in pubsub.

2020, 2021

Stripe – Infra Engineer on the Control Plane Team for the core databases.

Created testworld, a framework for testing database control-plane and distributed-systems behavior in CI and local development.
Served as Product Security Lead: created threat models, evaluated risk, and prioritized security fixes for core database infrastructure.

2015 - 2019

Keybase.io - Founding app engineer

Built the Keybase app from 0 to 1 across desktop, Android, and iOS.
Authored 680+ merged PRs to keybase/client, spanning React/React Native UI, Android/Go integration, secure signup/login, tracker flows, chat, file-system UX, and mobile reliability.
Repeatedly took ambiguous product/security workflows from prototype to shipped cross-platform behavior.
